More facts have emerged surrounding the sudden retirement of Nigeria Professional Football League club side, MFM Fc of Lagos coaches, Tony Bolus and Yemi Olarenwaju.
The two coaches tendered their resignation in quick succession on Wednesday following the not too impressive performance of the Club in the ongoing 2020/2021 season of the league.
According to Tobi Adepoju (a journalist based in Lagos and close to the team’s camp), the coaches were placed on half salaries after losing at home to Kwara United and were asked to step aside on Monday.

The team lost consecutive games against Wikki Tourists and Heartland FC.
On Monday, the club management asked the head coach, Tony Bolus and assistant coach, Yemi Olarenwaju to step aside and placed them on quarter salary.
On Wednesday, Bolus and Yemi resigned,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, the secretary of the club Ayo Peters has also tendered his resignation letter to the club management.
