Sheffield United beat Palace for first win of Premier League return

John Lundstram scored the only goal as promoted Sheffield United beat Crystal Palace in their first Premier League home match in 12 years.

Lundstram fired home the rebound of Luke Freeman’s saved shot in the 48th minute as United gave the Bramall Lane fans plenty to cheer about.

The Blades, who last played in the top division in 2007, have taken four points from the first two games of their return.

Palace, meanwhile, has yet to score after playing out a goalless draw with Everton last weekend.
