Carlo Ancelotti has revealed the four Real Madrid players he considers unimportant to his intentions for this season.
Diario AS (via Madrid Xtra) reports that Ancelotti has no plans for players like Eden Hazard, Jesus Vallejo, Mariano Dáz, and Alvaro Odriozola this season.
This despite the fact that the Italian has one of the smaller squads in Real Madrid’s recent history.
According to the report, Los Blancos only have 19 players on their roster this season.
Under Ancelotti, the four in issue have scarcely played any games. Their current future at Real Madrid is in jeopardy due to their distaste for Ancelotti’s squad.
The most high-profile player in the ranks is Hazard. The Belgian joined Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2019 in a deal close to €115 million.
Hazard, however, has failed to replicate his form in the Premier League in Spain due to frequent injuries and lack of form.
He has made just seven appearances for the reigning UEFA Champions League winner this season.
Vallejo, Mariano Diaz and Odriozola, meanwhile, have made just eight appearances between them for the club this season across all competitions.
