Bukayo Saka, a Nigerian-born England international footballer, is currently in Lagos after the 2022–2023 Premier League season, thesportsbay.com reports.
On May 31, 2023, the 21-year-old forward landed in Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
The teenager was instrumental in helping the Gunners finish behind eventual champion Manchester City and second in the Premier League.
The arrival of Saka in Nigeria comes after he modeled their new home jersey designed by international sports brand Adidas for the 2023/24 season.
Saka also ended the season with a bumper pay rise on his new contract until 2028 with the Gunners.
Born to Nigerian immigrants in the United Kingdom, Saka has always been tipped to wear the Green and white of the Super Eagles but chose to represent England the country he was born.
