The chairman of Kwara United, Kumbi Titiloye, has urged the team to step up their game in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
He warned that if the results don’t improve, there will be consequences for the entire team.
Kwara United has had two wins, three draws, and three defeats in eight matches this season so far. They recently had a 1-1 draw against 10-man Shooting Stars.
Currently, they are in 14th position on the NPFL table with nine points. Next, they will face Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
In the same vein, Lobi Stars defender Sunday Chinedu is confident that they can maintain their top position in the NPFL.
“Our utmost priority is to secure a continental ticket at the end of the season,” he said in a post-match interview.
“We have started a good move, and we are hard to achieve it. We believe we are going to maintain our position on the table.”
