I play like Zlatan, score like Haland – Chinonso

I play like Ibrahimovic, score like Håland – Chinonso

Nigeria’s striker, Emeka Chinonso has revealed that his pattern of play is similar to the way Swedish superstar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic plays while he scores like Norwegian and Dortmund sensation, Erling Braut Håland.

The Flying Eagles hitman further expressed his confidence at playing at the biggest clubs in the world when the opportunity arises.

“I want to thank God for this opportunity. Currently I am very much in shape and I can play anywhere in the world be it Barcelona, Real Madrid because I have the skills and I believe in God that he will take me there.

“I play the same way Zlatan plays and I also follow Håland. He is a kind of players that knows the net. He is friends with the net. I want to be able to score goals at will like Haland,” he said.

Speaking further, Chinonso is looking forward to take on the best defenders in Europe.

“Tactically, the defenders in Europe are very good and for me to triumph over them, I have to work harder,” he noted.

LMC denies suspending league matches

Speaking with his manager, Makànjuola Nureni, the 6.7ft Chinonso “has the pace and skills with the ball to take on his opponents.”

He further stated that he rejected an European deal for him because it was not a right one.

“He has been invited to European club but I don’t want him to play for the club. I am not out for quick gains even though some of the clubs talking to us play in the Champions League,” he said.

Chinonso was part of Nigeria Flying Eagles to the U20 World Cup in Poland but due to injury, he was an unused sub.

However, at the 2019 African Games in Morocco, he scored 3 goals and scored the goal that took Nigeria to Nigeria to Semi-final against Morocco in the quarter-final where he came on as sub in the 85th minute and scored the most important goal four minutes later (89th) minute.
