Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal is in no rush to field Colombian striker Radamel Falcao after his return from a month with a calf injury.
Van Gaal claim Falcao isn’t fit for a game and would miss out on a few matches.
“He is not fit enough to start a game yet. He needs to play 45, 60 or even 90 minutes in the second team but I haven’t been able to do that because I needed him on the bench when James Wilson missed the Hull game and Wayne Rooney was injured for the Stoke game.
Asked if Falcao was getting frustrated at Van Gaal’s caution, he said: “I am not interested. He has to follow my philosophy [on players returning from injuries]. Do you understand that? I’m here because of that.
Angel Di Maria is still out with a hamstring injury, but Rooney who missed the win over Stoke City, due to a sore knee, is fit again.
