
GTI Asset Management and Trust Limited, a strategic partner of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), has intensified its marketing efforts to attract sponsors and investors for the league.
In a press statement released on Monday, Andrew Ekejiuba, the Head of Media and Publicity of GTI/TNFF, assured stakeholders of Nigerian football of the company’s unwavering commitment to the advancement of the beautiful game.
Nelson Ine, the Project Director of The Nigeria Football Fund (TNFF), leads the marketing team in its mission to find partners, sponsors, and investors to support the development of the NPFL.
The company’s contributions to the NPFL 2022/2023 Championships Play-offs in Lagos have earned them widespread commendations from stakeholders of Nigerian football. The winners of the tournament, Enyimba International Football Club of Aba, received a whopping prize money of N100 million and a prestigious trophy courtesy of GTI, marking an unprecedented achievement in the history of the elite league.
“GTI has officially commenced engagements with Partners/Sponsors and Investors to partner with the NPFL. The process is ongoing and we are making huge progress in this regard based on the interest expressed by prospective partners.
“GTI also wants to build on the successes achieved at the just concluded 2022/2023 season and reposition the league using international best practices as our guide. We are aware that expectations are very high ahead of the 2023/2024 season and we at GTI are equal to the task,” Ekejiuba assured.
He further revealed that the Partnership/Sponsorship packages for would-be Partners have been categorized into four, namely; Title Partners, Official Partners, Associate Partners and Regional Partners.
Ekejiuba however called on corporate organizations and investors to utilize this investment window to invest in the NPFL/TNFF project and enjoy huge financial benefits on their Return on Investment.
