Ejike Ugboaja Foundation organises Basketball reunion in Houston

As part of continuous efforts to promote Basketball amongst the Nigerian community resident in the United States of America and beyond, the Ejike Ugboaja Foundation is organizing a reunion at Houston, Texas on Friday.

The annual event which is usually hosted by Ugboaja, a former APOEL Nicosia’s basketball player is this time around organized by the foundation’s friends and ambassadors residing in Houston.

The organizers who comprise of high school and college basketball players and retired stars disclosed that the event is meant to promote the game of slam and dunk among US-based Nigerian basketball players while helping the rookies to realize their future aspirations by providing them with adequate guidance and support.

They further stressed their desire to give Nigerian basketball a facelift by helping to refine the mindset of local players while reminding the leadership of Nigeria Basketball Federation of the importance of developing the game of basketball in Nigeria as they noted that talented players are dotted across the Nigerian map.

The event which will be a blend of music and basketball will be concluded on Sunday and it guarantees free entry to the attendees.
