Dakkada FC pays players all outstanding salaries

Dakkada Football Club has completely paid the backlog of outstanding salary arrears owed its players during the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League season, the sportsbay.com.

It will be noted that the Akwa Ibom based club owed its players 10-month salaries accrued from September 2019 to June 2020 before the season ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement, the Chairman, Coach Aniedi Dickson, and the entirety of the management of the club wish to unreservedly appreciate His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, the football-friendly Governor of Akwa Ibom State for the immeasurable financial and otherwise support.

The club management, however, pledged to reciprocate the gesture of the governor with positive on-the-field results in the upcoming 2020/2021 football season.
