Conte concedes big challenge at Tottenham

I'm happy to return to Premier League - Conte

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Antonio Conte has admitted that he has big challenges ahead of him at the White Hart Lane.

Conte enjoyed/endured a thrilling first game in charge of Tottenham as Spurs won 3-2 against Vitesse in a Europa Conference League match featuring three red cards last night.

The former Inter Milan and Chelsea manager says he has a “big, big challenge” facing him to make the club successful after taking over from Nuno Espirito Santo this week.

“This is a big challenge. A big, big challenge. I know very well that this club is not winning for many years,” said Conte.

“But I think I’m here to build the win. The win doesn’t happen after one, two or three days or one month. You must have vision.

“This club has a great vision outside of the pitch. Now we have to start having a vision on the pitch, on the football pitch. This is important if we want to win.”
