Former Nigeria coach, Sunday Oliseh, has claimed Chelsea and Liverpool will be cursing their luck in the title race while accusing Arsenal of pressing the self-destruct button against Manchester City on New Year’s Day.
Bukayo Saka opened the scoring for the Gunners but Riyad Mahrez converted a second-half penalty to equalize for City.
Gabriel received a second yellow two minutes later before Rodri grabbed a late winner.
“In as much as we should applaud Man City for resilience & mental strength in winning vs Arsenal, I am disappointed for Arsenal fans as they auto-destructed with a give-away penalty and red card.
“A golden opportunity lost? Chelsea & Liverpool must be cursing their luck right now,” Oliseh tweeted.
