Enyimba FC of Aba have been paired with Guinean side, Horoya AC of Guinea in the quarter-final of the CAF Confederations Cup following the conclusion of the draws in Cairo, Egypt.
Enyimba who are yet to win the CAF Confderations Cup will be looking to scale the Guinean hurdle with the first leg on 1st March, 2020 while the second leg will be seven later.
The Aba Warriors were in the semi-final last time under Coach Usman Abd’llah and would want to go a step further with coach Fatai Osho.
Enyimba got one of their biggest away victories on the continent with a 2-5 whitewash of San Pedro in Abidjan while Horoya AC beat Al-Nasr 2-0 away to secure their qualification to the quater-final.
Enyimba returned from Abidjan and went straight to Lagos to play their rescheduled game with MFM FC and got a vital away victory, their first away victory in 2 years.
In other quarter-final pairings, Zanaco FC will play Pyramids FC while Al-Nasr SC will play Hassania Agadir, who were in Enyimba’s group.
Al Masry SC played out a 1-1 with Enugu Rangers in Enugu and they will welcome RS Berkane
