Bruno Fernandes sets new Premier League milestone

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has set a new Premier League and personal record this season.

The Portuguese international made an assist for Alejandro Garnacho’s second goal while playing for Manchester United against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Fernandes created more chances than any other player in the Premier League this season during the game, breaking his previous record for most opportunities created in a single top-flight season.

The 2020 signing for Manchester United, age 28, set a new personal best during the Premier League encounter against Wolves.

Bruno Fernandes has produced the highest number of chances created in a season (108) beating his previous record (89). The highest he has created in a season before this new record is (95).

The midfielder is also tied with Kelvin De Bruyne 31 on big chances created in the Premier League this season. He is also topping the chart for the highest number of through balls this season (32).

The Portuguese now has a total of 75 goal contributions for Manchester United in the Premier League in the space of three years.
