Akwa United’s quest for its first Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title continues on Sunday when they visit former champions, Plateau United in Jos in the Match Day 31 fixtures.

The Promise Keepers who currently top the league table with 56 points, four more points behind second-placed Nasarawa United will seek to hold on tightly to the top spot

Meanwhile, in Aba, Enyimba International will look to return to winning ways when they welcome Rivers United to the Enyimba International Stadium while relegation bound Adamawa United will play host to MFM FC.

Also, Nasarawa will also seek to come back from the loss to Akwa United when they trader tackles with Jigawa Goldeen Stars while in Okigwe, Heartland will welcome Sunshine Stars.

At the Cathedral, Enugu Rangers will hope to keep up the winning streak when they visit Kwara United just as Katsina United will battle FC IfeanyiUbah FC

In the same vein, Kano Pillars who lost to MFM FC will take on Lobi Stars in Kaduna while Dakkada FC will play against Wikki Tourist in Bauchi.

Warri Wolves will attempt to devour Abia Warriors as the latter attempt to move out of the relegation waters.
