Abia Warriors extend unbeaten run to four games

Abia Warriors have secured a 1-0 victory over visiting Wikki Tourist in the MatchDay 13 of the 2020/21 Nigeria Professional Football League season at the Okigwe Stadium on Saturday.

Warriors began the season poorly with head coach, Imama Amakapabo hitherto had his job under threat as he faced possible sack but has been able to turn the fortunes of the club to secure their fourth victory.

Fatai Abdullahi’s goal from the penalty spot just before the first half ended was enough to give his side the three months as the club moved to ninth on the table with 16 points while scoring 15 goals in the process.
