|Frankie didn’t celebrate when he scored a late equalizer against Chelsea. Class!|
Former Liverpool midfielder, Jamie Redknapp believes Frank Lampard will want to help Manchester City beat former club Chelsea to the title this season.
Lampard’s loan from New York City FC is up for discussion in January nut from all indications; he isn’t keen to move yet.
He made a record recently by being the first player in English football to score against every club including Chelsea.
You will recall he scored against his old team when they met during the early stages of the season. He denied Chelsea a win by scoring the equalizer minutes after coming on a substitute
According Redknapp “After scoring at Southampton he now has 174 PL goals — one behind Thierry Henry. That is an incredible record.
“No doubt he’s looking forward to his American adventure but right now he will be focused on one thing: hunting down Chelsea.
“He’ll say all the right things in public but make no mistake, Frank is a winner. He’d love nothing more than to help City beat Chelsea to the title.”
He has points to prove against his old paymasters.
