Brown Ideye Nets First Premier League Goal

Nigerian international Brown Ideye has finally been able to score his first goal in the English Premier League.

The Super Eagles player netted in West Brom’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester City at the Hawthorns, breaking his duck since his big money transfer move from Dynamo Kyiv in the summer.

At some point this season, West Brom became frustrated with the Nigerian after breaking their transfer record to shell out £10million for the player.

But having pulled together some games in the last few weeks, Ideye finally came good, heading in a goal in the 87th minute after his side went three goals down to Manuel Pellegrini’s team.

He will now be hoping to build on that good form and find the net consistently for Albion in order to repay the faith they have in him.
