CAF Names NFF Official As Coordinator For AYC

The Confederation of African Football has named Nigeria Football Federation’s Deputy Director (Competitions), Bola Oyeyode, as Assistant General Coordinator for the 19th African Youth Championship finals taking place in Senegal in March 2015.

The tournament, at which Nigeria’s Flying Eagles, six-time champions of Africa, will play in Group A alongside host Senegal, Congo and Cote d’Ivoire, will take placeMarch 8 to 22.

Oyeyode, a highly experienced, energetic and astute official, and also Nigeria’s CAF Education Officer, will work with General Coordinators Alex Asante (Ghana) and Mazen Marzouk (Egypt).

Gabonese Yoland Mavouroutou is the other Assistant General Coordinator.

The other Nigerian named so far is screen diva, Aisha Falode, veteran football journalist and administrator, who is also a member of the CAF Media Committee.
