The Chairman, Board and the Executive Committee Members of FCT Golf Association has commiserated with His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari on the demise of his Chief of Staff,(COS) Mallam Abba Kyari who died of Coronavirus on Friday.
In a statement signed by the FCT Golf Association chairman, Engr Oladapo Olaide Mohammed, Mr Kyari was described as a patriotic leader who wished nothing but progress for his country.
“Our deepest condolences go to President Buhari, the people of Nigeria and especially, the family of Mallam Kyari over this tragic loss.
“We pray God to grant his family and the entire good people of Nigeria the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“May Allah forgive the shortcomings of late Mallam Abba Kyari and grant him speedy passage to Aljannatu Firdausi.
The FCT Golf boss noted that though the nation was made sad and in mourning, he urged Nigerians to keep safe by adhering to government advice on how to manage the pandemic,” he said.
Mallam Kyari had tested positive to coronavirus on March 23 after he returned from official engagements in Germany and Egypt and was subsequently moved to a Lagos facility for treatment.
