Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi will undergo coronavirus test on Monday following the outbreak of the virus across the globe.
The 26-year-old Nigeria international, who joined Denizlispor after leaving Trabzonspor in January, is in confident mood ahead of the test.
“People must stay safe, our club players will be available for the Covid-19 test on Monday and I’m confident because I have been at home since the suspension of the Turkish Super Lig.”
He also pleaded with Nigerians to stay inside and save lives amid the coronavirus crisis.
“My request will remain the same, please stay at home. Social distancing is the only cure for Covid-19.”
Onazi has made nine appearances this term.
Meanwhile, Anthony Nwakaeme and his Trabzonspor teammates have all tested negative to the coronavirus.
“The result of the Covid-19 tests carried out for our team football players and technical team under the coordination of Kibar Yaşar Güven, was negative,” a statement from Trabzonspor revealed.
Nwakaeme has scored times and made 11 assists in 37 games this season.
