DOHA 2019: Ese Brume wins bronze medal for Nigeria


Ese Brume is the first Nigerian to win medal for the country at World Athletics Championship by winning a bronze medal.

Ese Brume jumped 6.91m to claim the bronze medal as Malaika Mihambo emerged first picking the gold medal with 7.30m jump. Maryna Romanchuk’s 6.92m was good enough to pick the second position.

In 2014 Ese Brume was Commonwealth Champion but finished 5th in Rio Olympics in 2016 becoming the highest placed Nigerian.
