It could be recalled that Badawi has been a long-serving club coordinator of Rivers United.
He started as a footballer, and he plied his trade in Egypt. He came back to the country after his football career and became a football scout for some years before he ventured into the administrative aspect of football.
He was the coordinator of Rivers United till date before his appointment as the new general manager of Kwara United.
