The Chairman of Delta state Sports commission, Chief Tobobok Okowa has indicated interest to contest for the forthcoming Delta state football Association,DFA, Chairmanship position.
In an exclusive interview, he said he never intend to contest for the position but he was continually approached and advised by well meaning sports persons in the state to bring back the glory days to the DFA.
Okowa said he is willing to work with Edema Fuludu and other persons that are willing to work with him to develop football in the state after he finally accepted.

there was peace among us. The state league was functional, things were going fine until we left it in the hands of those that suppose to run it better than when we left it but they couldn’t “.
” These are some reasons why am contesting to bring the glory days back”.
