Media shooting workshop, competition postponed

The 2nd National Media Shooting Workshop and Competition organized by the Nigerian Shooting Sport Federation, NSSF has been postponed.

The competition which is organized for sports journalists duly registered with the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) in Nigeria was scheduled to hold from 27th to 30th March, 2019 at the Nigerian National Shooting Range, Package B, Abuja National Stadium Complex.

According to a statement signed on behalf of the President of the NSSF, Brigadier General Lonsdale Adeoye(rtd), “the new dates for the event will now be from 4th to 7th April, 2019, at same venue, while the times remain the same.

“This change in programme was to enable the Federation welcome into its fold some of its members and personalities who were involved in the various supplementary elections across the country.

The Nigerian Shooting Sport Federation is the brainchild of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development Abuja, and an affiliate of the Nigerian Olympic Committee (NOC), African Shooting Sport Federation (ASSF) and International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF).
