Dalung congratulates Buhari on his re-election

The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Barrister Solomon Dalung has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osibanjo on their re-election for another four years.

In his congratulatory statement released by his Special Adviser on Media, Nneka Anibeze, Barrister Dalung hailed the chieftains and members of the All Progressive Congress for turning out massively to mobilize support for President Buhari.

“I congratulate the father of the nation and our leader President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election. As predicted it was a keenly contested, free, fair and transparent election with a humiliating white wash in most states.

“I want to heartily felicitate with the Vice President Prof Osibanjo for the unrivaled part he played before, during and after the elections, as well as all the APC chieftains and most especially the electorate.

“We are proud of our great party members and the youths of this nation for also comporting yourselves in a very peaceful and orderly manner during the elections.

“We will extend an olive branch to everyone who has the interest of this country at heart . It is time to take Nigeria to the next level”, Dalung said.

President Buhari who was re-elected under the All Progressive Congress APC polled a total of 15,191,847 votes to beat his opponent Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who got 11,262,978 under the People’s Democratic Party PDP and 73 other presidential candidates.
