The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Football Association (FA) on Friday announced June 13 as date for election into various positions of the board.
This is contained in a communique signed by Hashimu Adamu, Chairman of Congress Communique Drafting Committee and made available to the SportsBay.
The congress also passed vote of confidence on the Amaju Pinnick-led Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
“The congress members appreciate the Amaju Pinnick-led NFF for carrying along all the stakeholders of the football family.
“FCT FA board appreciates them even more for their efforts to ensure that there is peace in the football family,” Adamu said.
The FCT FA congress, however, unanimously extended the tenure of existing FCT FA board to Thursday, June 13, 2019.
It will be recalled that the election which was earlier slated for Feb. 11 was stopped by NFF due to pockets of crisis rocking the board in some states.
