The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and Nigerian clubside, Rangers International Football Club of Enugu have expressed deep shock at the death of former Beach Eagles Assistant coach and former coach of the Flying Antelopes, Rangers, Chukwuma Agbo who passed on yesterday.
Reacting to the death via their various official twitter handles, the federation and the club noted the impact of the coach in Nigeria football and prayed God to grant the family and Nigeria football stakeholders the strength to bear the huge loss.
NFF in its reaction said “Yet another painful loss! We are sad to hear of the passing of Assistant Coach of our Beach Soccer National team, the Super Sand Eagles, Chukwuma Agbo. Our prayers are with his family at this time. May his soul rest in peace.”
Rangers while praying for his eternal rest, observed one minute silent in his honour during the pre-match officials meeting in Enugu today ahead of the Flying Antelopes’s Matchday 10 encountre with Wikki Tourist of Bauchi.
“We in Rangers are saddened by this big loss. May his soul rest in peace.
“A minute silence was observed for the loss of former Rangers coach, Chukwuma Agbo who last coached Delta Force, during Pre-match formalities inside the boardroom of Enugu F.A.”
