The rescheduled Match Day 1 between Go Round and Kada City in the Nigeria Professional Football League ended in a stalemate yesterday. on Thursday evening.
The game played at the Krisdera Hotel stadium, Omoku was the last fixture of the rescheduled midweek matches for Day 1 of the abridged league.
Go Round were hoping to make use of the home advantage for majority of the first half created several chances which came to nothing as they had just one attempt on target in the whole game.
This will be the second time the home side have failed to score a goal at home this season as they remain on 4th position with eight points from five matches on the Group B.
Kada City who came in the game with anger to ensure that they gain at least a point to atone for their last two losses was achieved as they got first point on the road this season.
However, they remain 11th in the league table with just four points from four games.
Meanwhile, Go Round will lock horns next with Akwa United away from home while Kada City will be Heartland’s guest in Week 6 of the league slated for February 3, 2019.
