The Head Coach of Katsina United who was kidnapped weeks ago by unknown gunmen after his release last week has resumed back his duty as head coach of Katsina United.
“I have actually resume training officially today, I took time to speak with the players to remind them of the club’s mandate and as well our target as far as the season is concerned”
“I also specifically told them how dangerous and difficult playing in an abridged league is”.
“Concerning the ordeal I experienced in the hands of the kidnappers it’s a thing of the past, those are memories I wish not to remember”.
“I am now back to assume my responsibilities, I am back to ensure my team are set to giving a worthy representation of themselves in the league”
“I will be on the bench this week against Niger Tornadoes which is my first outing in the league and by God’s grace we are going for the three points,” he said.
The soft speaking coach concluded by saying “I thank all football faithful for their endless prayers, care, support all through my dark moments”.
