Odion Ighalo tells youth how to become successful like him

Super Eagles and Changchun Yatai forward Odion Ighalo has advised young Nigerians to always put in their all in everything they do so as to achieve the needed results.

The former Watford striker on his instagram page advised his followers to keep working for what they believe in. “Nothing works if you don’t put in the work.”

The Super Eagles star whose 21 goals in 28 appearances was unable to save Yatai from relegation in the Chinese Super League has continued to put in hard work in his personal training despite being out of the season in China..Ighalo endured a tough time after Nigeria’s campaign at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and being targeted by a large section of the fans for failing to help the Eagles go pass the first round.

He bounced back strong from the disappointment to become the joint top goal scorer of the ongoing AFCON 2019 qualifier with six goals alongside Burundi’s Fiston Abdul Razak which was instrumental in Nigeria qualifying for next year’s championship in the summer.

With Yatai relegated in the Chinese Super League, there are strong indications that the former national U-20 captain will return to Europe to ply his trade with some reports claiming he might be on his way to Everton.
