Nigerian golfer, Andrew Odoh has taken the lead shooting a 3-under 69 to take the lead by 1 stroke after round 2 at Lakowe Lakes Golf & Country Club in Lagos, Nigeria.
Odoh began the round tied at fourth place with 2 players but closed distance and climbed the leader board to prime position, followed by compatriot Gift Willy, who also carded a 69 to finish second after 36 holes.
Sunday Olapade, who finished as runner up to Vincent Torgah started the first day of Nigeria @58 taking the lead with 2 under par 70.
He entered the second round leading by 1, shot 1-over 73 to take the third place followed by fellow Nigerian Michael Ubi who played the course par and finished fourth.
After finishing runner up to Vincent Torgah last Monday, Sunday Olapade has kept momentum going on the first day of [email protected], at the golf club which ends today.
The event forms part of the West Africa Golf Tour’s schedule with prize money earned to count towards the 2018 Order of Merit, a year-long competition currently led by Ghanaian Vincent Torgah.
