Neymar has confirmed that he will not leave PSG this summer as he remains under contract with the French club till 2022.
The Brazilian was in Barcelona on Monday, where he assured people that he would continue with PSG for at least one more season.
The PSG forward, who met up with some of his old Barcelona team mates, was speaking on ‘TV3’ to make it clear that he will be staying with Thomas Tuchel’s side.
“I am under contract at PSG and I am staying in Paris,” Neymar said when he was asked about a possible move to Real Madrid. The Brazilian was curt when asked about his future.
Given that he used to play for Barcelona, he was also questioned on the possible transfer of Adrien Rabiot. His response was as expected: “Ask him.”
The French midfielder is currently at the centre of a battle between PSG and Barcelona. ‘Sport’ have reported that PSG are willing to report Barcelona to FIFA over their approach for Rabiot.
Back in Barcelona, Neymar showed his lighter side with those who used to be his team mates.
“Yes, I was at training. I could talk with almost everybody. I had a good time with them, I miss them a lot,” he said..
Despite playing only three games for PSG this season, Neymar has been decisive already. He scored the third goal against Angers last weekend as he, Mbappe and Cavani joined up for the first time this season.
