Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has allegedly held discussions regarding a future move to Barcelona.
Pogba left Juventus to move to Old Trafford in 2016, with the France international scoring a total of 15 goals in 88 appearances in all competitions.
The French midfielder’s future continues to be the source of much speculation following reports of a bust-up with Jose Mourinho.
He is yet to return to pre-season after winning the World Cup, with former club Juventus also thought to be keen on re-signing him.
However, the 25-year-old continues to be linked with a move away from United after two mixed seasons and according to Tuttosport, preliminary talks have been held with Barcelona.
The report claims that Pogba met with technical director Eric Abidal, leading to suggestions that an offer could be made for the player at some point in the future who has denied holding a secret meeting with him over a proposed Nou Camp switch according to The Sun.
Pogba still has three years remaining on his United contract, leaving United in a strong position when it comes to dealing with any interest in one of their star men.
