Following the £100m arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, Gonzalo Higuain has been deemed surplus to requirements and sent on loan.
AC Milan announced the loan signing of Higuain from Juventus after the striker posed in the club’s shirt on their official Instagram page.
Gonzalo Higuain’s loan move to AC Milan is all but official. The Argentine forward is currently in Milan, where he is undergoing his medical with ‘the Rossoneri’.
It is also expected that the same deal will take Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci back to Turin after one season with AC Milan.
Bonucci spent seven seasons at Juventus, helping them win six successive Serie A titles, before joining AC Milan for £35m in a shock move last year.
Higuain is a proven goalscorer in Serie A. He scored 91 goals in 146 games for Napoli, and an impressive 55 in 105 games for Juventus.
