Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba is reported to be considering a move back to Italian champions Juventus.
The Frenchman was one of his national team’s main players as they won the World Cup in Russia, scoring a goal in the 4-2 victory over Croatia in the final on Sunday.
In 2016, United paid a club-record fee to sign Pogba from the Italian giants but the 25-year-old has endured a mixed spell at Old Trafford with just 15 goals coming in 88 appearances in all competitions.
Jose Mourinho has been very critical of his midfielder, believing that he has not shown enough commitment in games on several occasions.
As a result of his difficulty in the Premier League, his French team-mate and Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi is thought to have tried to persuade him to go back to Turin according to ‘Tuttosport’.
The ‘Old Lady’ have already showed their ambition in the transfer market after the confirmed the €100 million signing of Cristiano Ronaldo earlier in July.
Pogba made 178 appearances for the Italian side, and won a Scudetto in each of his four years. He is thought to remain in contact with several of his former team-mates such as Paulo Dybala and Giorgio Chiellini.
It is unclear, however, whether Juventus would have the financial capability to have Ronaldo and Pogba at the club.
