Super Eagles and Burssaspor of Turkey defender, Shehu Abdullahi has revealed that the proceeds from the charity football match will be donated to charity and less privileged.
It was an exciting match in Sokoto between Team Shehu and Team Musa captained by fellow-Super Eagles star, Ahmed Musa played at the Sokoto township stadium on Thursday.
In what turned out to be an exact reflection of is recent exploits with the Super Eagles at the World Cup in Russia, Musa was at his best again this time in the match played on Thursday on behalf of the less privileged.
The fleet-footed Leicester City attacker hit a brace for Team Musa, just like he did against Iceland in Russia, as he led his side to a 4-1 win over Team Shehu.
Musa, who has always shown love to the less privileged, made the best of his visit to Sokoto for support on and off the pitch, in a manner which many observers said was not surprising.
He was part of the donation of gift items to orphanages in the Caliphate and was in top form during the match, which had the organiser, Shehu Abudulahi as skipper of the opposing team.
In appreciation of Musa’s efforts and the support he got from far and wide, Shehu stated: “I appreciate you all, it was a success!!! Thanks @Ahmedmusa718 & Friends.
“We visited the orphanage home on Wednesday in Sokoto State. We had an amazing time with the children. #ShehuFoundation#CharityMatchInSokoto.”
