Italian giants Juventus are reportedly set finalise a deal worth £88million to sign the former Manchester United favourite, Cristiano Ronaldo over the next 24 hours.
In recent days, Ronaldo has been heavily linked with a surprise switch to the Italian champions, who are said to be prepared to pay in the region of £88m.
The player himself has reportedly agreed terms with the Serie A champions after deciding to bring the curtain down on his nine-year spell in the Spanish capital.
His departure could see Real step up their interest in Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar who only joined the French champions last summer in a £200m move from Barcelona.
And Liverpool could also benefit from Ronaldo’s departure with Jurgen Klopp reportedly interested in signing Juve’s Argentina international Paulo Dybala.
There have been claims that the Portuguese superstar has already agreed to join Juventus and it appears that the Turin-based club are doing all that they can to complete the transfer of the 33-year-old.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus want to unveil Ronaldo at their stadium at some point on Saturday if they can conclude negotiations with Real on Friday.
Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has not moved to play down speculation, suggesting that Ronaldo could leave the Bernabeu in order to take on a new challenge during the latter stages of his career.
During his nine years at Real, Ronaldo has scored 450 goals in 438 appearances in all competitions, winning two La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns.
