Stoke City midfielder, Victor Moses, may be out for several weeks after picking up a hamstring injury during his side’s 1-1 draw with West Ham, according to manager, Mark Hughes.
The Nigeria international, who has scored four goals in all competitions this season, limped off at Upton Park after pulling up when attempting a shot. Hughes explained the unusual nature of Moses’ injury after the game, but was hopeful that the knock won’t prove to be too serious.
“It looks like Victor has pulled his hamstring,” Hughes said. “It looks like it is in a strange position as it seems to be right behind his knee, which isn’t the normal position you usually get hamstring injuries.
“We will get it checked, it may be something that isn’t to do with the hamstring so it could be that we get good news but we can’t be sure yet. “If it is a hamstring, then it could be that we lose him for a few weeks.”
