Morata Returns To Real Madrid

Real Madrid have announced that Alvaro Morata has been bought back from Juventus and that he will participate in the club’s pre-season.

While his return was widely expected, it was not clear if the 23-year-old would remain at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu or if he would be sold on for a profit – which makes his inclusion in Zinedine Zidane’s pre-season plan particularly interesting.Los Blancos’ decision was revealed in a statement on the club’s website.

“Real Madrid have informed Juventus of their decision to reclaim the federative rights on the player Alvaro Morata,” it started.

“[He] will join up with the first team for pre-season training under the command of Zinedine Zidane.”Morata scored 11 goals in 52 appearances for the Real Madrid first team before his 2014 move to Juventus in a deal which included a buy-back clause of €32 million.
