The Sports Writers Association of Togo will play an exhibition game against Emmanuel Adebayor and friends on Sunday in honour of former Hawks coach, Stephen Keshi,

The match will be played at the Stade Municipal de Lome.

Keshi, a former Super Eagles captain and coach, had two stints as head coach of the Togolese national team.

Under him, the Hawks qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the first time in Germany in 2016.

He was however sacked by the country’s football federation following the side’s dismal showing at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The former Mali coach died on June 7 in Benin City, Nigeria aged 54.
